Marty and Liz first opened Cottage Creations in the Historic District of downtown Frankfort in August 2000, offering only Irish, and German/Austrian gift items reflecting their own families' heritage combination.   Personal events led to the decision to relocate and build "our cottage" on our homesite in Mokena.  Construction started December 2006 and we opened in September 2007. We've expanded our selection to include unique home decor, garden items, embroidered &  cutwork tablecloths, Webkinz and the Nora Fleming collection of serving ware for all occasions taking advantage of the addtional space we have in our store.
